Good news! The fire-damaged Catholic church in Otter Street is to be re-built.
Although VCAT ruled in July that the church could not be demolished, parishioners and concerned residents have been nervously awaiting the outcome, given that neither VCAT nor the City of Yarra has the power to enforce re-building. This is a great result.
