Community Grant for the Online Maps Project 29-11-2008
CHS has been successful in our application for a City of Yarra Community Grant.
CHS was one of the 140 successful applicants for a community grant, out of a total 215 applications. The money will be used to add maps to this website:
1. Plaques map, showing the sites of plaques installed over the last two years and linked to descriptions of the sites.
2. Several 19th and 20th century maps showing the location of early buildings, and the changes to streets brought about by road widening, freeway construction, and the building of high-rise flats and factories.
3. Maps showing the sites of 176 schools, kindergartens and colleges.
